Miguel Ruiz Jorro graduated from the University of Valencia with a degree in Medicine in 1986 obtaining a Doctorate in Medicine through the University of Valencia in 1996. He is specialized in Clinical Reproductive Andrology, Master in Assisted Reproduction by the University of Valencia and certified by the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) as Senior Clinical Embryologist. Dr. Ruiz Jorro was also a founding member of the IVI (The Valencia Infertility Institute) in 1989, as well as being the founding member of CREA (Assisted Reproduction Medical Centre) in 1993. Together with this, he was also a founding member of ANACER (National Association of Assisted Reproduction Centres) in 2005 and he is member of the directive board of the Spanish Fertility Association (SEF) from 2010. Currently, he is one of the two managing partners of CREA, the supervisor of CREA’s Assisted Reproduction Laboratories as well as being the coordinator of the Andrology Department. He has taken part in a teaching role on various training courses from different private and public organizations and has presented more than one hundred conferences and scientific communications in national and international symposiums and congresses. He has published papers in national and international journals as Human Reproduction, Fertility Sterility, RBM Online, the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Spanish Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, etc. and he has been referee in journals as MEDRE (Medicina Reproductiva y Embriología Clínica), RIF (Revista Iberoamericana de Fertilidad) and Revista Internacional de Andrología. He is a member of the following scientific societies: The Spanish Fertility Society, The Association for the Study of Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR), The Spanish Andrology Society (ASESA) and The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), as well as being an active member in ANACER.
